Not Everything Is

Not everything is for our taste
There's so much to bring on here
Weighing in up in its waste
From the dark and the dim somber

Feelings are sometimes forgotten
For what they give of dreams
And the old again comes knottin'
With its dark in the dark streams

You may never find it again
That you were before searching
It’s all in the reaching den
That into the staggering is lurching

The ways that you give of thoughts
To moments that are always new
In lives available and its plots
And you from its features drew
To give off and take its lots
