The night comes so easily in
With every thought from under its wing
Daydream of twilights own darkish spin
Giving its pearls of dewdrops string
Each hour is always going across
Filling the moments in tinctured sky
Daydreams of day coming to loss
Never to know any reasons why

Love is like footsteps in to its glow
Going far into deep of the night
Filling the silences with every low
Until again there comes daybreak's light
Yesterday once so full of its fire
Giving the glow to hours to come
Then comes the evening in passionate desire
Where every shade and shadow is from
